Making a Positive Impact

Getting in shape is not meant to be a torturous endeavor. There may be a sore muscle or two along the way, but I believe getting fit should be enjoyed, not dreaded. I get to change lives for a living, which is not only a privilege but incredibly fulfilling and rewarding.

As a fully qualified and accredited trainer, I firmly believe in the positive benefits that fitness can bring to all areas of our lives. Further your education

Pilates For Athletes is a workshop I created that examines the needs of and exercise considerations for specific sports. We will take a deep dive into & actively participate in Pilates exercise variations on multi apparatuses to identify how and why they are influential to optimize the athletes performance, improve technique, increase their physical fitness, and even facilitate recovery time.

Teachers will leave with full profiles of each athlete and a manual of exercise variations for these sports.

Pilates Pro Class

I'll take you through a workout to include the moves you love and the moves you love to hate on all the apparatuses (reformer, chair, mat, Cadillac). This industry class is advanced and intended for instructors only. A great way to keep us as instructors in shape, pick up new cues and build community.

Tuesday 11:00 am - 11:45am


Are you ready to transform your body? Full-body workout using weights instead of springs. Core training, bodyweight training, and circuit training all wrapped up in a pretty (sweaty) Pilates package. This class is guaranteed to take your fitness to the next level.

Friday 10:00 am - 10:45 am

Mat Workout

Are you ready to transform your body? Traditional Pilates Mat could well be your next favorite thing! Designed to improve strength, coordination and create connections in your entire body, this class is guaranteed to take your fitness to the next level.

Private / Virtual / In-Home Sessions

Private sessions are the ideal way to do Pilates. The session is personalized to your physical needs (ex. injury, body type, pregnancy, athlete etc.) with full one to one attention. You can schedule at your convenience upon our availability. A 24 hour cancellation policy is applied.

About Me

Florida native Samantha Datz, has a wealth of experience in health promotion and management of physical fitness training. Samantha is a dynamic leader with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Physiology from the University of Tampa. As a former ACSM Personal Trainer and Specialist in Exercise Testing and Prescription her attention to detail and encouraging, upbeat attitude inspire students to preform the Pilates techniques to their highest capabilities. She completed her first Pilates certification in 2011 with Peak Pilates, and built a strong client base ranging from pre/post natal to professional athletes (NFL, NHL, PGA, MLB) in the Tampa Bay Area.

Samantha later moved to NYC in 2012 to further pursue her passion in the fitness

industry where she joined Alycea Ungaro's Real Pilates NYC team and later became a Lead Teacher Trainer mentoring aspiring Pilates instructors and leading seminars all across the country. Samantha has appeared on various media outlets; showcased in South Tampa Magazine "The Best of the Fitness Instructors" mentoring a competitor in the Biggest Loser competition, and contributed to and Market Watch and serves as a beauty, style, fitness expert brand spokesperson featured WFLA Daytime television show, as well as segments on ABC Suncoast View.

She currently works with clients out of Wave Pilates Studio in South Tampa, In-home training, as well as virtually with clients worldwide.
